How to Measure
Shoulder:Measure across upper back from the tip of one shoulder to the tip of the other. Person must stand tall with chin parallel to the floor and your shoulders back – try not to hunch!
Chest:With arms relaxed at sides, measure above the bust at the armpits, keeping the tape parallel to the floor. Circle the tape around back over shoulder blades. Be sure to go all the way around the body.
Bust:Wearing bra and with your arms relaxed at your sides, measure the fullest part of bust, keeping the tape parallel to the floor, under the armpit and around back at about the same location as the middle of bra-line.
Under-bust:Measure all the way around torso immediately beneath bust.
Waist:Measure around the narrowest part of torso at your natural waistline. To find natural waistline, bend to one side. There will usually be a crease where you bend. Often it is just below ribcage: that’s natural waistline. (Don’t worry if this seems higher than where actually wear pants and jeans.) Keep the tape measure parallel to the floor as measure all the way around your torso.
Hips:Standing with heels together, measure around body at the broadest part of hips. This will include the fullest part of backside, too and should be just about where legs meets your torso (this is approximately 8″ below natural waistline).
Upper arm:Place the tape measure around the widest part of upper arm, your bicep. Then bend arm slightly at the elbow. This measurement ensures you’ll be able to bend arms in the sleeves and fit your arms through the armholes of the item.
Height:Standing with feet slightly apart and back to a wall, measure straight from the floor to the top of head.
Bra cup size (optional): We can also check the bra and cup size for more accurate fitting.
